The Hangzhou Mountain Marathon (HZMM) is a scenic and challenging race that winds through the Longjing Tea Hills and past historic Buddhist temples, offering a truly unique experience. The Shangri-La Hotel at Hangzhou’s West Lake serves as the base for the race and the weekend’s activities, providing the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the surroundings before and after your run.
The full 42-kilometer course is a true test of endurance, featuring steep climbs, long descents, and countless stone stairways through the hills. Shorter routes of 34, 25, and 17 kilometers offer equally beautiful trails at a more relaxed pace, making the event enjoyable for both seasoned trail runners and those who prefer a scenic trek with family and friends.
